Role Overview:

As a Heavy Truck Driver, you’ll be responsible for transporting goods across various Eastern European locations from our base in Bucharest. Your focus will be on safe driving practices, timely deliveries, and vehicle maintenance.

Key Responsibilities:

Driving Operations:

Operate heavy trucks to transport goods across Eastern European routes.

Ensure adherence to all traffic and safety regulations during transport.

Monitor vehicle performance and report any issues promptly.

Delivery Management:

Ensure timely delivery of goods to designated locations.

Assist in loading and unloading goods as required.

Maintain accurate delivery records and documentation.

Vehicle Maintenance:

Perform routine inspections and maintenance checks on the truck.

Report any mechanical issues and coordinate repairs promptly.

Keep the truck clean and in optimal working condition.

Route Planning:

Plan efficient routes to optimize delivery schedules and fuel usage.

Adjust routes based on traffic or weather conditions as needed.

Communication and Coordination:

Communicate effectively with dispatchers and team members.

Coordinate with warehouse staff for loading and unloading procedures.

Skills & Experience:

• Proven experience as a heavy truck driver with a clean driving record.
• Knowledge of truck maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Ability to handle goods responsibly and ensure safe transport.
• Excellent navigational and route planning skills.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Valid driver’s license for heavy trucks (Category C or equivalent).
• Experience in long-haul transportation within Eastern Europe is advantageous.
• Flexibility to work varying hours, including weekends and nights.
