Role Overview:
As a Petroleum Refinery Operator, you’ll be instrumental in overseeing refinery operations, maintaining safety protocols, and ensuring the quality production of petroleum-based products in Bucharest.
Key Responsibilities:
Refinery Operations:
- Monitor and operate refinery equipment to facilitate the production of petroleum products.
- Ensure adherence to operational procedures for efficient and safe refinery processes.
Safety Compliance:
- Adhere strictly to safety protocols and regulations governing refinery operations.
- Conduct routine safety inspections and report any hazards or issues promptly.
Quality Control:
- Monitor product quality throughout the refining process and take corrective actions as necessary.
- Conduct tests and analyses to ensure product specifications are met.
Maintenance:
- Perform routine maintenance on refinery equipment to ensure optimal functionality.
- Identify and report equipment malfunctions for timely repairs.
Emergency Response:
- Respond effectively to emergencies or incidents within the refinery, following established protocols.
Communication:
- Maintain clear communication with supervisors and team members regarding operations and any issues that arise.
Skills & Experience:
- Proven experience as a Petroleum Refinery Operator or similar role in a refinery setting.
- Knowledge of refinery operations, safety protocols, and quality control procedures.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Relevant technical education or certifications in petroleum refining or chemical engineering preferred.
- Experience in operating refinery equipment and familiarity with refinery processes.
- Understanding of safety regulations and emergency response procedures in a refinery setting.
- Proficiency in local language (Romanian) and English preferred.
